FAQ

How many family members do your sessions include?

Family photo sessions include up to five people. Each additional person is €100.

What is the best time of day to photograph?

The best light happens in the first two hours after sunrise and in the last two hours before sunset - but we can make any time of day work!

Can you suggest locations?

Of course! There are so many wonderful options here in Paris. My aim is always to create something unique and beautiful for each session that I photograph.

Can we photograph at the Trocadéro (Eiffel Tower)?

Yes! I am currently booking sessions at this location for my Premium Paris Sessions. Due to its popularity, the Eiffel Tower is not an option for Mid Morning Mini Sessions.

Can I/we add on time?

I charge €400 per 30 minutes for additional coverage beyond what our agreement includes and you can choose to add on extra time as needed.

Will you help direct?

Rest assured that I will take an active approach to subtly directing you into the most natural and flattering poses if needed... but I'm sure you will be incredible!

What if it rains?

If rescheduling isn't an option we'll bust out the cute umbrellas (I can bring some for you to use on request), photograph in adorable passages and embrace the Parisian café scene.

What is your policy for rescheduling?

I try to be as flexible as possible with scheduling and do not charge any fees to reschedule. I just ask that you let me know at least 48 hours prior if you need to change our session time or date.

What should I/we wear?

Your outfits should be a reflection of you! Neutral tones are ideal and light coloured clothing will help to reflect light (examples are white, blush, nude, yellow, gold and pastels). A touch of colour and some gorgeous accessories can really help brighten up your photos if Paris delivers an overcast day. Wear something that you are comfortable and can move in, that suits your individuality and makes you feel amazing!

Should I consider getting hair and make up done?

I work with some very talented hair and make up artists here in Paris who I will happily put you in touch with once you've booked your session date. A stylist (or styling team) can come to your accommodation and will ensure that you arrive at our meeting point feeling totally gorgeous and ready to begin our session together.

How will you edit the images?

My editing style is minimal because my goal is always to capture natural beauty in the best light possible. My stance on Photoshop is that less is more! The photos that you’ll receive will have been hand edited by yours truly.

Can I/we select which photos you will edit?

I don't offer you the opportunity to choose the final images that I will edit for your gallery. Rest assured that you will receive the crème de la crème of what we take during the session!

When and how will the images be delivered?

Your best images will be delivered digitally within 30 days of your session. I will email you a link to your personal online viewing gallery to download the high-resolution files. The images will be available for three months following the date of delivery.

Do you provide the original files of all of the unedited JPEGS?

The original photo files (what's referred to as the RAW images) are for studio use only. My process is to only select and edit the very best photos so that you don't have to! The images in your gallery will allow you to print canvases, large prints and a host of other items.

What happens to the outtakes (the images that didn't make the final cut?)

I will edit the images with the ideal compositions, facial expressions, lighting, backgrounds and focus and deliver in a way that reflects my style. The images you didn’t receive won’t be archived and therefore won’t be available to you after your portrait session.

Can you hold a session date?

Unfortunately, I cannot hold your session date without a signed agreement and reservation retainer. I recommend booking up to three months in advance and work on a “first-sign-first-serve” basis.

How do I/we book?

To get your session in the diary I require a signed agreement and a 50% reservation retainer via bank transfer. The remaining payment is due one week before our session via bank transfer.

Do you photograph weddings and elopements?

After 10 incredible years, I have decided to step away from documenting weddings and will be focusing on shooting portrait sessions while I raise my two little loves.
